چکیده

The current version of STEP standard cannot exchange the parametric information of CAD models. Only pure boundary representations that cannot be parametrically edited are transferrable. There are two approaches for the exchange of design intents such as parameters, features, and constraints. The first is an explicit approach based on constraints between pre-defined parameters and features. The second is a procedural approach based on the sequence of operations issued to construct the models. The authors have previously proposed a macro-parametric approach, which is a variation of the procedural approach. In this approach, CAD models can be exchanged in the form of macro files, which include the history of modeling commands. To exchange CAD models using the macro-parametric approach, a set of standard modeling commands should be defined. This paper introduces a set of standard commands and explains the process of developing the set.

Strategies for Using STEP in Parametric Design

The STEP stands for the standard for exchange of product model data. It represents ISO 10303. In the STEP, the parametric design methodology is supported by various Parts. The first Part is ISO 10303-55: integrated generic resource: procedural and hybrid representation. The second Part is 10303108: integrated application resource: parameterization and constraint for explicit geometric product m...

Bank efficiency evaluation using a neural network-DEA method

In the present time, evaluating the performance of banks is one of the important subjects for societies and the bank managers who want to expand the scope of their operation. One of the non-parametric approaches for evaluating efficiency is data envelopment analysis(DEA). By a mathematical programming model, DEA provides an estimation of efficiency surfaces. A major problem faced by DEA is that...
